Lunesdale White Heather
f. 1997, Grey Mare
S. Lunesdale Mountain Mist x
D. Lunesdale Helen
Heather is a very special mare, whom we were able to import only through the cooperation of the Woolleys of Littletree Stud.

There is literally so much good to say about this mare, I'm not quite sure where to begin. Hands down, her value to our program as a proven cross against our stallion was most important.  Heather and Bodini produced a filly in 2005 named Littletree Bessie Bell, by far one of the most beautiful and talented fillies in her generation, having won  the 2007 Fell Pony Society (FPS) Breed Show- 1st Two Year Old Fillies class, and the year before in 2006 at The Royal Show, was 1st Yearling Fells and Reserve Overall Fell Pony Champion.  In 2008 Bessie won the 2&3 Year Old Gelding/Filly class at Westmorland County Show.  Clearly this is the type of pony we strive for in our own program, and there's nothing like following a success!

Heather's own career was just as illustrious, if not more so, coming onto the fell pony scene as the mount for Jessica Woolley in her debut days of ridden competition.  Under many different judges, at many different shows, Heather and Jessica were awarded top honors time and again:
