S. Midtown Jasper
D. Foggy Gill Jewel (B)
Corrennie's best qualities include an exceptional easy-going attitude, correct ground-covering forward movement showing great use of hock; flat bone and clean joints, and beautiful black dappling! She's an "easy keeper" from a feed and maintenance standpoint.  She also has a pretty cute pony head!  She is broke to ride and drive.  In considering her bloodlines, she does not currently have a direct relation (excepting her own foals) in the United States, making her quite unique as a broodmare.
Spotlight: Midtown Jasper  Corrennie Afton is a daughter of Midtown Jasper (dcd.), an excellent driving pony in his day, winning the 1994 Duke of Edinburgh Cup team event along with Tebay Comet at the International Driving Grand Prix at Royal Windsor Horse Show (whip Mike Dingwall).  Corrennie's mother line is Foggy Gill.

Ster Ratings:
Unique to Holland

As clarification, the ster ratings Dutch-born Fells may achieve is based on a system used in several countries, but not including the UK.  The NFPS (Netherlands Fell Pony Studbook) follows the traditional system of judging known to their country, which offers 4 rating tiers.  From lowest to highest, a pony may be judged studbook, 3rd premium, 2nd premium ster or 1st premium ster.  (Very rarely a poor example receives none of the above!)  It is not a judging system that applies to all Fells everywhere.
Corrennie Afton was our first Fell pony, the one who started it all!  We imported her in the summer of 2005.  Corrennie's easy going personality and loving nature makes her a joy to work with, and we have discovered her mothering skills are exceptional.  We have had such wonderful fun learning from her!  Corrennie is a black 16 year old mare originally from Aberdeenshire, Scotland.  Later, she was exported to the Netherlands, and was judged a 1st Premium Ster mare by the NFPS, (the Dutch daughter society to the FPS).  She has also borne foals who went on to receive their own 1st premiums, so her ability to pass on type & quality is unquestionable.  In April 2006, when Corrennie delivered a filly foal to us, (Dream Hayven Aurora), it was to our knowledge Wisconsin's first ever Fell Pony birth!!
