This young Fell Pony mare was born right here at Dream Hayven, in the early morning of Saturday, June 24th, 2006. From a bay mare and a black stallion, she was born almost steel blue and slowly changed to a mahogany brown with her summer coat 2007. She also shows a lot of character with two white hind feet- hence a name with a lot of character: DreamHayven Alida Mac!
Alida has really exceptional structure, very correct across the topline and a perfect example of feminine type in a Fell Pony. (This is no surprise as her mother is a beautiful example of traditional type herself). Alida Mac is quite the little lady, very proper and takes great care to walk cleanly around any mud in the field!
Alida also takes the world at her own pace. This little filly has been a challenge as her personality is quite different than our other Fells; yet because of that every new challenge she accepts is a celebration.
Alida Mac's father has sadly already passed away, and her mother is now in Texas, making Alida's pedigree irreplaceable to us as breeders.
